The Bochumer Bildungszentrum e.V. is an association of second-generation migrant parents. As such, it sets itself the goal of helping people of different age groups with a refugee and migration background through projects and educational measures.
Over 20 years of experience in integration and educational work should contribute to the sense of belonging of these course participants in the German society. The knowledge gained thus also supports them in coping with everyday problems.
School problems, the fear of failure and exam stress negatively influence the school career of many adolescents. In order to alleviate these fears, to sustainably improve school performance and to positively direct the social competence of the students, BBZ e.V. offers individually tailored remedial courses in common subjects.
Here, the goal is to support people in their private and social situations through educational projects and measures. With their pedagogical skills, our professionals support participants from different cultures and backgrounds. The focus is on personal and professional development.
The „Forum für Jugendarbeit im BBZ e.V.“ is the youth panel of the Bochum Education Center. Creative courses and events for children and young people take place here. From handicraft activities and music clubs to cooking courses, there are many options here.
FESA (Forum für Eltern- und Sozialarbeit) offers families socio-pedagogical support, educational counseling and educational assistance and even humanitarian aid. The team consists of psychological and pedagogical professionals and volunteers.
